- Add the browser guard to Chrome
ViperAI Shield — Browser Guard 1.0.1 is live in the Chrome Web Store. Add it to Chrome and a known scam or phishing site is checked as the page opens: a first visit is caught on arrival, and a site already known to this browser is stopped before it loads. The free web checker remains available for messages, links, and photos. The profile below filters connections that use the configured DNS.

Honest about what this does
Web Protection uses DNS filtering. It does not hide your IP address, change your location or encrypt all device traffic. It is not a VPN.
This can block websites that are known to be scams — it's a strong layer, not a force field. Always still check anything that asks for money or passwords. The free scam checker is there for anything a blocklist hasn't caught yet.
It protects the phone you set it up on. Setting it up on a family member's phone means doing these steps on their phone. And because you turned it on, it can be turned off the same way — use native parental controls where supported. This profile alone does not prevent removal.
Is this safe to install?
Good instinct to ask — you should be suspicious of anything that wants to change a setting on your phone. So here's exactly what this is, in plain terms: the profile points your phone's DNS (the internet's address book) at Quad9 — a free, non-profit secure resolver run by a Swiss foundation and used by tens of millions of people. It blocks known-malicious websites and, unlike most, does not retain individual user IP addresses. It processes DNS questions and retains some aggregate security telemetry; see Quad9’s privacy policy.
ViperAI never sees the pages you visit. You turned it on, and you can remove it yourself any time (steps below). One tell: if a surprise "tech support" call ever pressures you to install a profile, that's the scam — this is something you choose, on your own, and control.
iPhone: Settings → General → VPN, DNS & Device Management → ViperAI Shield Protection → Remove. Android: Settings → Private DNS → Off.
